The 13th Canadian Powder Diffraction Workshop
Dates: October 26 – 30, 2020
Welcome to the 13th Canadian Powder diffraction. The workshop will be held remotely, adapting to the current covid19 status.
The Workshop sessions will cover the basic theory of powder diffraction, experimental setups, sample preparation and data analysis. Other diffraction and scattering techniques will also be presented, appropriate for the characterization of powders, thin films, single crystals, nanostructured and disordered materials. The programs GSAS-II, pdfGUI and MAX3D will be introduced during the presentations and used in the afternoon’s practical sessions. Check our Program page!
The Workshop is targeted towards students, postdocs and practitioners who would benefit from an improved understanding of the basic theory and practice of powder and 2D diffraction for analyzing materials. Participation in the Workshop will be limited to approximately 200 participants.
